ARLINGTON, Texas (Interstat) — The Minnesota Lynx visit the Dallas Wings on Sunday at College Park Center in a matchup between two of the WNBA’s top teams. Minnesota (14-4) enters the game with the league’s best record, while Dallas (11-7) sits third in the standings. The Lynx have won the season series so far, taking a 100-76 victory June 9 in Minnesota and an 86-90 win in Dallas on May 14. Forward Natasha Howard has been a consistent force for the Lynx. In her last 10 games, Howard has recorded at least 10 points, shooting 21 or more points in six of those contests. She posted 21 points and 15 rebounds in a 78-76 win over Washington on Wednesday, and scored 27 points against Seattle on June 6. Howard averages 17.7 points and 7.7 rebounds during that stretch. For Dallas, forward Jessica Shepard has been the team’s most productive player. She has posted double-doubles in five consecutive games, including 22 points and 14 rebounds in a 99-84 loss at Las Vegas on Thursday. Shepard had a near triple-double against Seattle on June 22 with 14 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, and another against Las Vegas on June 15 with 15 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists. The Wings are looking to snap a two-game losing streak after falling to Las Vegas and Golden State. Dallas has won five of its past seven games at home. Minnesota is coming off a 78-76 victory at Washington on Wednesday. The Lynx have won six of their last seven games. The Interstat game simulator projects a 95-84 Dallas victory.
