NEW YORK (Interstat) — The New York Liberty look to extend their winning streak to three games when they host the Indiana Fever on Saturday at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET. New York (6-4) enters the contest off a 97-82 victory over Toronto on Wednesday, while Indiana (5-4) is coming off a 100-84 loss at Portland on Saturday. The Liberty have won two straight after a three-game losing skid. Forward Breanna Stewart posted 19 points and nine rebounds in the win over the Tempo, while center Jonquel Jones recorded a 22-point, 17-rebound double-double. Jones, a former league MVP, has been dominant in the paint. She is averaging 16.3 points and 11.2 rebounds over her last four games. In her most recent outing, she added two blocks and two assists in 34 minutes. Known for her versatility, Jones has posted double-doubles in four of her past six games. Indiana’s offense runs through center Aliyah Boston. The third-year pro has been the Fever’s most consistent scorer. Boston scored 24 points in a 90-73 win over Portland on May 20 and followed with a 20-point, 16-rebound performance against Golden State on May 22. She totaled 18 points and seven rebounds in the loss to Portland on May 30. Boston is averaging 15.9 points and 7.6 rebounds over her last seven games. She has scored in double figures in six of those contests. The Fever have been inconsistent, alternating wins and losses over their last five games. Indiana fell 88-90 to Golden State on May 28 and dropped a 102-104 overtime decision to Washington on May 15. The Fever are 2-3 on the road this season. New York is 4-1 at home. Interstat’s game simulator projects a final score of New York 92, Indiana 80. Following Saturday’s game, the Fever travel to Washington for a Monday matchup. The Liberty visit Connecticut on Monday.
