DALLAS (Interstat) — The Dallas Wings, winners of three of their past four, host the Seattle Storm on Monday at College Park Center. Dallas (5-3) enters as a 10.5-point favorite, with an over/under of 170.5. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 95-84 Wings victory. The Wings are powered by forward Jessica Shepard, who recorded a triple-double (Interstat) — 22 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists (Interstat) — in a 95-87 win over Las Vegas on May 28. Shepard has posted two triple-doubles this season, also notching one against Chicago on May 20. Over her past five games, she has averaged 16.4 points, 12.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists. Seattle (3-6) has lost five of its past six, including a 93-72 defeat at Toronto on May 30. Guard Natisha Hiedeman scored 18 points with seven assists in that loss. She has been efficient lately, averaging 16.3 points and 4.8 assists over her past four games, though the Storm have struggled to generate consistent offense. Dallas counts on a balanced attack. Guard Azzi Fudd added 22 points in the win over Las Vegas, while guard Paige Bueckers chipped in 20 points and six assists. The Wings’ defense has held opponents to 86.3 points per game during their recent 3-1 stretch. Seattle’s Jordan Horston contributed 15 points against Toronto, but the Storm have allowed 89.6 points per game over their past three losses. Mackenzie Holmes added six points and seven rebounds in that game. The teams split their season series last year. Dallas’s next game is Friday at Los Angeles, while Seattle returns home to host Phoenix on Wednesday.
