ARLINGTON, Texas (Interstat) — The Las Vegas Aces visit the Dallas Wings on Thursday night at College Park Center, with both teams seeking to solidify their early-season standing in the WNBA. Las Vegas (4-2) enters the game coming off a 101-95 loss at home to Los Angeles on May 23, snapping a four-game winning streak. Dallas (4-3) has won two of its last three, including a 91-76 victory at New York on Sunday. Thursday’s game is the first of two regular-season meetings between the clubs. They face again June 15 in Dallas and June 25 in Las Vegas. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 95-83 Dallas victory, but Las Vegas opened as a 1.5-point favorite. The over/under is 175.5. Aces center A’ja Wilson has been dominant in the early season. In her last six games, Wilson has posted double-doubles in three, including a 45-point, three-rebound, three-assist performance May 15 against Connecticut. Wilson recorded 24 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks in the loss to the Sparks. Wings guard Paige Bueckers has been a consistent scorer for Dallas. She has reached at least 20 points in five of seven games this season, including 24 points, six rebounds and two assists in Sunday’s win over New York. Bueckers also had 27 points, three rebounds and eight assists in a one-point loss to Minnesota on May 14. Dallas is averaging 87.7 points per game while allowing 82.4. Las Vegas scores 92.3 per game and allows 89.7. The Aces are 2-2 on the road this season. The Wings are 2-2 at home. After Thursday, Las Vegas travels to face Golden State on May 31. Dallas hosts Seattle on June 1.
