WNBA: Las Vegas at Connecticut UNCASVILLE, Conn. (Interstat) — The Las Vegas Aces (1-1) visit the Connecticut Sun (0-2) on Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena in a quick rematch of their season opener. Wednesday, the Aces defeated the Sun 38-27 in a low-scoring affair. Las Vegas arrives looking to build momentum after rebounding from a 33-point loss to Phoenix with a 105-78 rout of Los Angeles on Sunday. Connecticut is seeking its first win after dropping its first two games by an average of 19 points, including an 89-82 loss to Seattle on Sunday. Aces guard Jackie Young is a player to watch. She recorded 20 points, five rebounds and nine assists in 31 minutes against Los Angeles, following a 12-point, six-rebound outing in the loss to Phoenix. Forward A’ja Wilson added 19 points, four rebounds and three assists in the win over the Sparks. Sun forward Aneesah Morrow has been a bright spot. She posted a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds in 31 minutes against Seattle, and scored 15 points with six rebounds in the season-opening loss to New York. Center Brittney Griner had 16 points and six rebounds against the Storm. Las Vegas begins a two-game trip to Atlanta on Saturday. Connecticut travels to Portland on Monday.
