DETROIT (Interstat) — The Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons will meet Sunday in a decisive Game 7 of their playoff series at Little Caesars Arena, with the winner advancing to the next round. The top-seeded Pistons (67-28) hold home-court advantage after posting the NBA’s best regular-season record. The fourth-seeded Cavaliers (59-36) enter as underdogs, trailing the series 3-3 after a 115-94 loss Friday in Cleveland. Detroit has been installed as a 3.5-point favorite, with an over/under of 205.5. The Interstat game simulator projects a 118-106 Pistons victory. James Harden leads Cleveland’s attack. The guard averaged 21.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists in six games against Detroit this series, including a 30-point, eight-rebound, six-assist effort in a 117-113 win Wednesday. He scored 23 points with seven boards in Friday’s loss. Jalen Duren anchors Detroit’s frontcourt. The center posted 15 points and 11 rebounds with three blocks in Friday’s win and has averaged 10.3 points and 7.3 rebounds over the series. The Pistons have won two of three at home in the series, though Cleveland claimed a 117-113 victory May 13 in Detroit. The teams split 10 meetings this season, with Detroit winning five of the last six. Cleveland’s Evan Mobley added 18 points and six rebounds Friday, and Jarrett Allen had 13 points and eight boards. Detroit’s Ausar Thompson contributed 10 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Paul Reed scored 17 off the bench. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. EDT.
