LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — The Oklahoma City Thunder will try to complete a four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers in Monday’s Game 4 of their Western Conference playoff series at Crypto.com Arena. Oklahoma City, the top seed with a 71-18 record, holds a commanding 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. The Lakers, who finished the regular season at 57-34, face elimination with tipoff set for 7 p.m. PDT. The Thunder have dominated the series by double digits in each game. Oklahoma City won the opener 108-90 on May 5, took Game 2 with a 125-107 victory on May 7 and routed the Lakers 131-108 on Saturday. Guard Ajay Mitchell has been a primary catalyst for Oklahoma City. The 6-foot-5 guard has averaged 20.7 points and 6.7 assists in the series, shooting efficiently from the floor. Mitchell posted 24 points and 10 assists in Game 3, following a 20-point, six-assist performance in Game 2 and 18 points and four assists in Game 1. Forward Rui Hachimura has been the Lakers’ most consistent scorer. He has averaged 18.3 points in the series, including a team-high 21 points in Game 3 and 16 in Game 2. Hachimura played 39 minutes in each of the first two games on the road. The Lakers will need improved production from their supporting cast. LeBron James and Austin Reaves combined for 36 points in Game 3, but the Lakers allowed the Thunder to shoot 52 percent from the field. Oklahoma City has won six consecutive playoff games dating to its first-round sweep of Phoenix. The Lakers have lost four of their past six games overall. According to Interstat’s game simulator, the projected final score is Los Angeles 123, Oklahoma City 116. Sportsbooks have installed the Thunder as a 9.5-point favorite, with the over/under set at 211.5 points. The winner of this series would advance to face either Denver or the Los Angeles Clippers in the conference finals. If the Lakers win Monday, Game 5 would be Wednesday in Oklahoma City, with a potential Game 6 on May 16 back in Los Angeles and a Game 7 on May 18 in Oklahoma City.
