NBA Playoffs: Pistons at Cavaliers, Game 3 CLEVELAND (Interstat) — The top-seeded Detroit Pistons visit the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference playoff series, with the Pistons holding a 2-0 lead. The Pistons (66-25) defeated the Cavaliers (56-35) 107-97 on Thursday and 111-101 on Tuesday, both at Little Caesars Arena. Game 3 tips at 8 p.m. at Rocket Arena. Detroit guard Cade Cunningham has been the catalyst. In Thursday’s win, he logged 42 minutes with 25 points, four rebounds and 10 assists. Over his last 10 games, Cunningham has scored at least 23 points nine times, including a 45-point performance against Orlando on April 27. He has averaged 30.6 points and 6.4 assists in Detroit’s two playoff wins over Cleveland. Cleveland center Jarrett Allen had a strong Game 1 with 22 points and seven rebounds in 31 minutes but struggled in Game 2, managing just two points and three rebounds in 18 minutes before fouling out. Allen averaged 10.2 points and 8.3 rebounds in the Cavaliers’ first-round series win over Toronto. The Cavaliers have lost four of their last six games overall dating to the regular season. Guard Donovan Mitchell led Cleveland in Game 2 with 31 points. Detroit forward Tobias Harris added 21 points and seven rebounds in the last meeting. Duncan Robinson scored 17 points for the Pistons. Saturday’s game is the first of two in Cleveland. Game 4 is Monday at Rocket Arena. The Pistons last lost a playoff game on April 27 at Orlando. They have won five of their last six postseason contests.
