The Reds have won two of their last three and have gotten strong starting pitching recently. Cincinnati’s offense broke out Sunday after scoring two or fewer runs in three of its previous four games. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 6-2 Cincinnati victory, and its ELO system gives the Reds a 60.50 percent probability of winning. Cincinnati is a 1.5-run favorite, and the total is set at 9. The teams continue the series Wednesday and Thursday before the Athletics travel to Boston for a three-game weekend set against the Red Sox.
