BALTIMORE (Interstat) — The Los Angeles Angels open a three-game series against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. First pitch weather is forecast as cloudy and 87 degrees. The Angels (43-69) are scheduled to start right-hander Walbert Ureña. Ureña has allowed two earned runs over 22 innings in his past four starts. In his most recent outing, he threw six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out seven in a 3-0 win over Milwaukee on Aug. 2. He also worked six innings and allowed one run against Houston on July 27 and against St. Louis on July 21. The Orioles (54-58) will counter with right-hander Kyle Bradish. Bradish struggled in his latest start Aug. 2 against Philadelphia, allowing two runs in three innings in an 0-8 loss. He gave up five earned runs and 10 hits in 4.2 innings at Detroit on July 27, but he allowed one run over six innings at Boston on July 22. He also threw 6.2 innings of one-run ball against Kansas City on July 11. The teams played a three-game series in Anaheim in June, and the Angels took two of three. Baltimore won the opener 6-1 on June 22, then Los Angeles won 5-1 on June 23 and 7-6 on June 24. Los Angeles enters Tuesday’s game after a 3-0 victory over Milwaukee on Sunday. Ureña earned the win, Ryan Zeferjahn struck out four over 1.2 scoreless innings, and Wade Meckler homered and drove in two runs. The Angels have struggled overall this season, sitting 26 games under .500. Baltimore is coming off a 5-0 loss to Philadelphia on Saturday, one day after beating the Phillies 6-4. The Orioles have had an erratic stretch, including a 14-0 loss at Detroit on July 28 and a 10-9, 12-inning win there the next day. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 5-2 Baltimore victory. According to Interstat’s ELO system, the Orioles have a 62.80 percent chance to win. Baltimore is a 1.5-run favorite, and the over/under is 8.5. The series continues Wednesday and Thursday at Camden Yards. The Angels then travel to Miami for three games, while the Orioles go to Texas for three games.
