The Brewers opened the series Friday with a 6-2 victory. Shane Drohan pitched six innings, allowing four hits and two earned runs while striking out seven. Jake Bauers went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs, and Grant Anderson added 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief. Drohan is a player to watch for Milwaukee.
