(Interstat) — The Boston Red Sox begin a four-game series against the Athletics on Monday at Sutter Health Park, looking to build momentum after splitting a weekend set with Toronto. Boston (54-50) bounced back from a 6-0 shutout loss Saturday with a 6-1 win Sunday, powered by left-hander Ranger Suarez. Suarez worked four innings of scoreless relief, allowing four hits with six strikeouts to earn the victory. Jarren Duran went 3 for 4 with two RBIs, and pinch-hitter Jahmai Jones added two RBIs for the Red Sox. Right-hander Payton Tolle (5-6) is the scheduled starter for Boston.
