Preview: Diamondbacks at Dodgers LOS ANGELES (Interstat) β The Los Angeles Dodgers will host the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Dodger Stadium in a matchup of National League West rivals with contrasting trajectories. The Dodgers (61-33) enter with the best record in the league, having won four of their last five games. The Diamondbacks (46-47) are fighting to climb above .500 after splitting their last four games. Right-hander Merrill Kelly will start for Arizona. Kelly (7-7, 4.18 ERA) is coming off a dominant outing Thursday at San Diego, where he pitched seven innings, allowed one earned run and struck out six in a 3-1 victory. He has been inconsistent over his last five starts β winning his past two decisions after losing three straight from June 16-28 β but his command and ability to induce weak contact make him a key factor for Arizona. Right-hander Roki Sasaki will start for Los Angeles. Sasaki (6-3, 3.97 ERA) earned a win Wednesday against Colorado, going six innings with three earned runs and five strikeouts in a 4-3 victory. His outings have been volatile β he lasted just three innings against San Diego on July 2, giving up six earned runs β but his swing-and-miss stuff remains capable of shutting down any lineup. The teams split their last head-to-head series in June. The Dodgers won four of seven meetings earlier this season, though Fridayβs series opener ended in a scoreless tie β a game likely suspended by weather. The Dodgers have outscored Arizona 32-20 in their previous seven matchups. Los Angeles enters as a -1.5 favorite on the run line, and the over/under is set at 8.5 runs. The game simulation projects a 7-4 Dodgers victory. The series continues Sunday at Dodger Stadium.
