AP Sports Preview NEW YORK (Interstat) — The Detroit Tigers aim to complete a three-game sweep of the New York Yankees on Wednesday afternoon at Yankee Stadium II. The Tigers lost three of four to Houston last weekend but rebounded to win the first two in New York. New York is 3-7 in its last 10. The Yankees were swept in a four-game series at Boston before dropping the first two in this set. Upcoming schedules Detroit travels to Texas for three games beginning Thursday, then returns home for series against Oakland and Philadelphia. New York hosts Minnesota for three games starting Friday, then visits Tampa Bay for four before a three-game set at Washington.
