BALTIMORE (Interstat) — The Chicago White Sox, winners of three of their last four, visit the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Chicago (43-39) enters the game one game above .500 on the road. Baltimore (39-46) has lost three straight and eight of its last 10. The forecast calls for 86 degrees and clouds. The teams played Monday, with Chicago winning 5-4. Baltimore has won three of four meetings this season. White Sox third baseman Miguel Vargas is a player to watch. Over his last four games, Vargas is 8-for-15 with two home runs and seven RBIs. He went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs in Sunday’s 5-4 loss to Kansas City. In Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Kansas City on June 27, he was 1-for-3. On June 26, he was 3-for-6 with a home run and five RBIs in a 22-1 rout. For Baltimore, right-hander Albert Suárez is a bullpen arm to watch. In Sunday’s 6-4 loss to Washington, Suárez pitched three innings, allowing three hits and one earned run with two strikeouts. Over his last two outings, he has allowed one earned run in six innings with five strikeouts. On June 23 at the Los Angeles Angels, he threw three scoreless innings with three strikeouts. Chicago left-hander Garrett Crochet is scheduled to start for the White Sox. Baltimore had not announced a starter as of Monday. The White Sox are coming off a 5-4 loss to Kansas City on Sunday. Vargas and relievers Jordan Hicks (1.1 scoreless innings) and Trevor Richards (1.1 scoreless innings) were productive in the loss. The Orioles lost 6-4 to Washington on Sunday despite home runs from Pete Alonso and Jackson Holliday. An Interstat’s game simulator projects a 5-4 Chicago win.
