SAN FRANCISCO (Interstat) — The Oakland Athletics visit the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, June 24, for the second game of a two-game interleague series at Oracle Park. Right-hander Tyler Mahle (1-7, 5.40 ERA) is scheduled to start for Oakland (38-40). The Giants (31-46) will counter with right-hander Logan Webb (6-7, 2.78 ERA). Mahle has lost his last three decisions. Giants left fielder Casey Schmitt went 2 for 4 with an RBI in Sunday’s loss. Second baseman Luis Arraez, hitting .304, went 1 for 4. Series history The teams played to a scoreless tie Tuesday.
