In his only appearance this season against Seattle, on June 9, Rogers allowed three runs over 5.2 innings in a no-decision. For the Mariners, reliever Nick Davila has been a reliable arm out of the bullpen. In his last four appearances, spanning 4.1 innings, Davila has allowed zero earned runs and struck out five. He faced the Orioles twice last week, throwing 2.1 scoreless innings of one-hit ball. Series history Wednesday’s game follows a 0-0 tie Tuesday, which was postponed. The clubs recently split a four-game series in Baltimore from June 8-11, with the Mariners winning the first two games before the Orioles took the final two.
