LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — The Los Angeles Dodgers host the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Dodger Stadium in the second game of a three-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. PDT. The Dodgers (34-20) lead the National League West by a healthy margin and have won three of the first four meetings with the Rockies this season. Colorado (20-35) sits in last place in the division and has lost seven of its last 10 games. Right-hander Shohei Ohtani (4-2, 3.18 ERA) is the probable starter for Colorado. Ohtani has been the Rockies’ most consistent starter, though he took a no-decision in his last outing. He will be opposed by Dodgers right-hander Emmet Sheehan, who has won his last three starts, including Monday’s 5-3 victory over the Rockies. Sheehan allowed two earned runs over six innings with eight strikeouts in that outing. PLAYERS TO WATCH Rockies shortstop Ezequiel Tovar had two hits, including a home run, and drove in two runs Monday. Right-hander Tanner Gordon is a key bullpen option for Colorado; in five appearances this season, he has a 2.84 ERA and has not allowed a run over his last two outings covering 3⅓ innings. For the Dodgers, Sheehan has been dominant of late, posting a 2.16 ERA over his last three starts while striking out 20 batters in 16⅔ innings. Reliever Blake Treinen has not allowed a run in his last 10 appearances, and right-hander Will Klein has retired all six batters he has faced in his two outings. BETTING LINE The Dodgers are installed as a -1.5 run favorite on the spread. The over/under is set at 7.5 total runs. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 6-3 Dodgers victory. SERIES HISTORY Monday’s 5-3 Dodgers win evened the season series at three games apiece. The Rockies took two of three from Los Angeles in Denver in April, while the Dodgers have won two of the first three games at Dodger Stadium. UPCOMING After this series, the Rockies open a three-game home set against San Francisco on Friday, while the Dodgers begin a three-game series at home against Philadelphia on Friday.
