Giants at Athletics Preview WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Interstat) — The San Francisco Giants look to snap a four-game losing streak Sunday evening when they face the Athletics at Sutter Health Park in the finale of a three-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. under cloudy skies with temperatures around 80 degrees. The Giants (18-27) dropped the series opener Friday, 5-2, and Saturday’s game ended in a scoreless tie. In his last four starts, Civale has permitted just six earned runs over 21 innings while striking out 16. Recent History The Giants will try to avoid a series sweep after dropping Friday’s game despite strong efforts from Arraez and Harrison Bader.
