LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — The Miami Marlins aim to snap a two-game skid Monday night when they open a three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. PDT. Miami (13-15) enters the contest after a 6-3 loss Sunday at San Francisco. The right-hander Chris Paddack (0-4, 4.50 ERA) will start for the Marlins, seeking his first win of the season. The Dodgers (19-9) have won two straight after completing a 6-0 shutout of the Chicago Cubs on Sunday. They send left-hander Justin Wrobleski to the mound. Wrobleski has been dominant in his past three outings, all victories. He pitched six scoreless innings against the Cubs on Sunday, allowing four hits with six strikeouts. On April 20 at Colorado, he worked seven innings, yielding one earned run. He tossed eight shutout innings against the New York Mets on April 13. Marlins right-hander Max Meyer has been a bright spot in the rotation, posting a 1.80 ERA over his last three appearances. On Sunday against the Giants, he threw five scoreless innings, scattering four hits and striking out five. Shohei Ohtani leads the Dodgers’ offense, going 3-for-3 with a home run and an RBI on Sunday. Miguel Rojas added two RBIs. Miami third baseman Graham Pauley provided the offense Sunday, hitting a three-run homer in the loss. The Interstat game simulator projects a 5-4 Dodgers victory. Following Monday’s opener, the teams meet again Tuesday and Wednesday before the Marlins return home for a series against Philadelphia. The Dodgers travel to St. Louis for a three-game set beginning Friday.
