Astros right-hander Peter Lambert also turned in a strong performance Wednesday, throwing six shutout innings against Cleveland with three hits allowed and eight strikeouts in a 2-0 victory. He is 1-1 with a 3.27 ERA over two starts this season. Recent trends The Yankees’ offense has been rolling, scoring at least four runs in six of their last seven games. Jazz Chisholm Jr. homered Thursday and is hitting .312 for the season. The Astros’ offense has struggled, scoring two or fewer runs in five of their last 11 games.
