ATLANTA (Interstat) — The Atlanta Dream look to extend their dominance over the Toronto Tempo. The Dream host the Tempo on Monday, Aug. 10, at State Farm Arena. Atlanta enters with a 19-12 record; Toronto is 10-21. Atlanta has won all three meetings this season, including a 111-92 victory at Toronto on July 17 and a 94-87 home win on June 22. The Dream also won 102-77 at Toronto on June 14. Atlanta guard Allisha Gray has been a key factor. In her last outing Friday, a 74-79 loss at Washington, she scored 26 points with six rebounds and two steals. She had 20 points in a win over Phoenix on Aug. 5, and 25 in a win at Dallas on July 29. In the July 17 victory over Toronto, Gray had 18 points, three rebounds and two assists. Toronto guard Julie Allemand has been strong as a distributor despite the Tempo’s losing skid. She recorded 12 assists with 11 points and five rebounds in Thursday’s 97-83 loss at Portland. She also posted eight assists against Golden State on Aug. 4 and six assists in the July 17 loss to Atlanta. Allemand has scored in double figures in four of her past eight games. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 96-89 Atlanta win. After Monday, Toronto travels to Dallas on Aug. 12, while Atlanta visits Connecticut on Aug. 13.
