TORONTO (Interstat) — The Washington Mystics visit the Toronto Tempo on Friday night at Scotiabank Arena in the WNBA season opener for both teams. Washington (0-0) is starting a new campaign after finishing last season with a 66-75 loss at the New York Liberty on Sept. 9, 2025. The Mystics open a 10-game stretch that includes home contests against New York, Indiana, Los Angeles, Chicago and Toronto, along with road games at Seattle, New York and Connecticut. Toronto (0-0) makes its franchise debut after the league’s newest expansion team spent the offseason assembling its roster. The Tempo’s schedule features a three-game series at Los Angeles from May 15-17, followed by trips to Phoenix, Chicago and New York, plus home games against Portland, Seattle, Chicago and Connecticut. Friday’s game tips off at 7 p.m. ET.
