The Hurricanes are 1-0 and coming off a dominant road win. Florida A&M fell 31-13 to South Carolina State on Sept. 6. Dustin Fletcher is a player to watch for the Rattlers. He completed 6 of 8 passes for 68 yards in the loss. In Florida A&M’s 20-7 win over Albany State on Aug. 29, Fletcher completed 0 of 2 passes and had one rush for 15 yards. Over his past two games, Fletcher is 6 of 10 passing for 68 yards with a 15-yard run. Isaiah Knowles also played quarterback against South Carolina State, completing 7 of 22 passes for 94 yards. Jamal Hailey rushed 11 times for 13 yards and recorded one tackle. Florida A&M’s offense will need more consistency after managing 13 points in its most recent outing. Miami opened with a 45-6 win at Stanford on Sept. 4. Darian Mensah is the player to watch for the Hurricanes.
