He was sharp in his previous start July 17, tossing six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts against Detroit, though the Angels fell 2-1. Recent Results The Angels split a six-game homestand, taking three of four from Detroit before dropping two of three to St. Louis. Their offense has struggled, scoring two or fewer runs in five of their last nine games. The Giants are seeking to halt a five-game losing streak, their longest of the season.
