Texas (38-42) enters the game after a 6-0 shutout victory over Toronto on Thursday, but dropped two of three games in a series at Miami earlier this week. The Rangers have a 2-4 mark over their past six contests. Toronto (39-41) has lost two straight, including a 3-1 defeat Wednesday against Houston. The Blue Jays are 3-6 in their last nine games. The pitching matchup features a pair of right-handers. Jacob deGrom (3-3, 3.38 ERA) starts for Texas.
