ANGELS-ORIOLES PREVIEW ANAHEIM, Calif. (Interstat) — The Los Angeles Angels host the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night at Angel Stadium, with both teams looking to build on series-opening wins. Baltimore (37-42) sends right-hander Kyle Bradish (4-7, 4.12 ERA) to the mound against Angels left-hander Sam Aldegheri (2-2, 3.86). First pitch is set for 7:07 p.m. PT. The Orioles are coming off a 12-1 thrashing of the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday, their third win in four games. Center fielder Colton Cowser went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs in that contest, extending a solid stretch. Over his last 10 games, Cowser is batting .310 (9-for-29) with two homers and five RBIs. For the Angels (32-47), rookie third baseman Denzer Guzman has provided a spark. He went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBIs in Sunday’s 9-7 win at Oakland, giving him three home runs and six RBIs over his last three games. Guzman is hitting .290 (9-for-31) in his last 10 contests. Bradish will be looking to rebound from a rough outing, having allowed four earned runs in 5 1/3 innings against San Diego on June 14. He has not faced the Angels this season. Aldegheri counters for Los Angeles, seeking his third win. The lefty allowed two earned runs over 5 2/3 innings in his last start June 17 at Arizona, striking out six. The betting line favors Baltimore by 1.5 runs, with the over/under set at 8.5. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 5-4 Angels victory. ROSTER NOTES Brandon Young (5 IP, 1 ER, 5 K) was sharp for Baltimore in Sunday’s win. Blaze Alexander added three hits and two RBIs. For the Angels, Donovan Walton drove in three runs Sunday. Reliever Sam Bachman tossed a scoreless inning. SCHEDULE LOOKAHEAD The three-game series continues Tuesday and Wednesday at Angel Stadium.
