SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. (Interstat) — Two teams heading in opposite directions meet Tuesday night when the Atlanta Braves host the San Francisco Giants at Truist Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. with 75-degree temperatures and cloudy skies expected. The Braves (46-25) own the best record in the National League and enter on a three-game winning streak after taking two of three from the New York Mets over the weekend. Atlanta is a -1.5 favorite on the run line, with an over/under of 9. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 6-5 Atlanta victory. Players to watch For the Giants, RHP Logan Webb has been dominant over his past three starts. On Sunday against the Cubs, he threw eight shutout innings, allowing seven hits with seven strikeouts. In his previous outing, he went eight innings against Washington, surrendering one run. Over his last three starts, Webb has a 0.53 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 23 innings. For Atlanta, López has been effective in relief. In his last appearance Sunday at the Mets, he pitched a scoreless inning. On June 7 against Pittsburgh, he worked 1 1/3 hitless innings. Over his last five outings, López has allowed one earned run in 7 1/3 innings. Recent results San Francisco beat Chicago 5-1 on Sunday, with Webb earning the win and Matt Chapman hitting a home run. The Braves lost 8-1 to the Mets on Sunday, managing only five hits. Series context The three-game series continues Wednesday and Thursday before both teams head to Florida. San Francisco travels to Miami for a three-game set starting Friday, while Atlanta returns home to host Milwaukee. The season series resumes June 26-27 in San Francisco.
