The Braves (46-25) own the best record in the National League and enter on a three-game winning streak after taking two of three from the New York Mets over the weekend. In his previous outing, he went eight innings against Washington, surrendering one run. Over his last three starts, Webb has a 0.53 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 23 innings. For Atlanta, López has been effective in relief. In his last appearance Sunday at the Mets, he pitched a scoreless inning. On June 7 against Pittsburgh, he worked 1 1/3 hitless innings. Over his last five outings, López has allowed one earned run in 7 1/3 innings. Recent results San Francisco beat Chicago 5-1 on Sunday, with Webb earning the win and Matt Chapman hitting a home run. The Braves lost 8-1 to the Mets on Sunday, managing only five hits. Series context The three-game series continues Wednesday and Thursday before both teams head to Florida.
