He earned the win Monday against St. Louis, tossing seven innings of one-run ball with two hits allowed and 12 strikeouts. Over his past five starts, Misiorowski is 4-1 with a 0.30 ERA, allowing just one earned run in 31 1/3 innings while striking out 49 batters. Opponents are batting .095 against him in that span. RECENT FORM The Cardinals have lost four of their past seven games and are 2-5 on their current road trip. St. Louis dropped two of three at Cincinnati before losing the series opener in Milwaukee. The Cardinals’ offense has struggled to score, managing three runs or fewer in five of their past eight games. The Brewers are 4-3 over their past seven games and have won six of their last eight at home. Milwaukee has been powered by strong starting pitching, holding opponents to two runs or fewer in four of their past six games. SERIES OUTLOOK The two teams will conclude their series Wednesday afternoon before the Cardinals return home for a three-game set against the Chicago Cubs starting Friday.
