Dodgers at Angels Preview ANAHEIM, Calif. (Interstat) — The Los Angeles Dodgers, winners of six of their past seven games, aim to complete a weekend sweep of the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday evening at Angel Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7:07 p.m., with the weather forecast calling for 72 degrees and cloudy skies. The Dodgers (27-18) have dominated the season series thus far, shutting out the Angels 6-0 on Friday behind a sharp outing from the bullpen and another strong performance from Andy Pages. Pages, the Dodgers’ center fielder, enters Sunday’s contest as a key player to watch. In Friday’s victory, he went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Over his past 10 games, however, Pages has been inconsistent, posting three multi-hit performances — including a 3-for-5, three-homer, six-RBI outburst at Houston on May 6 — but also collecting five hitless games in that span. He is batting .226 on the season. The Angels (16-29) have lost four straight and are still searching for offensive consistency. Right-handed reliever Kirby Yates is a player to monitor out of the bullpen. He pitched a scoreless inning Friday, allowing no hits and striking out two. In three appearances over the past week, Yates has allowed two earned runs in 2 2/3 innings, striking out four. The Dodgers took the series opener 6-0 on Friday, with Pages providing the early power and Teoscar Hernández adding a homer and two RBIs. Will Klein earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief. The Angels managed just three hits and struck out 11 times. Saturday’s game was postponed. Looking ahead, the Dodgers begin a three-game series Monday at San Diego, while the Angels open a four-game homestand against the Athletics. According to Interstat’s game simulator, the Dodgers are projected to win 5-3. Los Angeles is installed as a -1.5 favorite on the run line. The over/under is 9.5.
