CHICAGO (Interstat) — The Chicago Cubs look to regain control of a four-game series against the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday at Wrigley Field. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. CDT, with a forecast of 55 degrees and clouds. The Cubs (23-12) enter with a share of the NL Central lead, while the Reds (20-15) sit 3 1/2 games back. The clubs split the first two games of this set, with Cincinnati taking Tuesday’s game 2-0 after Chicago won Monday’s opener 5-4. Right-hander Colin Rea (4-1, 2.89 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Reds. Rea has won three consecutive decisions and allowed two earned runs or fewer in five of his six starts this season. Chicago has won seven of its last 10 games. The Cubs posted a three-game sweep of Arizona at home before dropping the series opener to Cincinnati.
