WASHINGTON (Interstat) β The Milwaukee Brewers and Washington Nationals meet Saturday evening at Nationals Park, with first pitch scheduled under clear skies and 66 degrees. Milwaukee (16-14) enters after a 13-1 rout of Arizona on Thursday. William Contreras went 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs. The catcher is 10-for-26 over his past seven games with two homers and eight RBIs. Washington (15-17) snapped a two-game skid Thursday, beating the New York Mets 5-4. Shortstop CJ Abrams went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBIs. He is 7-for-22 over his last six games with two home runs and six RBIs. The Brewers list left-handers Kyle Harrison (2-1) and Foster Griffin (3-0) as probable pitchers for the series. Griffin has yet to lose in four starts. Washington was expected to announce its starter later Friday. The teams played Friday afternoon, with Milwaukee winning 4-1. The Nationals took three of four in Milwaukee from April 10-12, outscoring the Brewers 18-10. Interstatβs game simulator projects a 5-3 Washington victory. Milwaukee is a -1.5 favorite on the run line, and the over/under is 8.5. The series continues Sunday.
