Cubs at Dodgers Preview LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — The Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers continue their three-game series Saturday at Dodger Stadium, with first pitch set for 7:10 p.m. under clear skies and 68-degree temperatures. Chicago (16-9) has won seven consecutive games, the longest active streak in the National League. Los Angeles (17-8) bounced back from consecutive losses to beat San Francisco 3-0 on Thursday. The Cubs will send right-hander Colin Rea (3-0, 2.84 ERA) to the mound. Rea has been sharp through four starts this season. He will oppose Dodgers righty Tyler Glasnow (5-0, 2.41 ERA), who has been dominant in five outings, allowing only one earned run over his last 15 innings while striking out 16. Chicago also has right-hander Roki Sasaki (0-2, 5.68 ERA) available in the bullpen after he was skipped in the rotation. Players to Watch Cubs first baseman Michael Busch has been on a tear, collecting hits in seven of his last eight games with three home runs and seven RBIs in that span. He went 2-for-6 with a homer and four RBIs in Chicago’s 8-7, 10-inning win over Philadelphia on Thursday. Dodgers right fielder Tyler Glasnow also stars on the mound, but his bat has been quiet. He threw eight innings of one-hit ball with nine strikeouts in Thursday’s win at San Francisco. Series Notes Los Angeles won Friday’s series opener 3-0, limiting the Cubs to two hits. The Dodgers have taken three of four meetings this season. Chicago leads the season series 2-1 after sweeping a two-game set at Wrigley Field in early April. Projections Interstat’s game simulator projects an 8-6 Cubs victory. However, Interstat’s ELO system gives the Dodgers a 60.1% win probability. Los Angeles is a -1.5 favorite on the run line. The over/under is 9.5 total runs. Upcoming The series concludes Sunday at Dodger Stadium. Following that, the Cubs travel to San Diego for a three-game set starting Monday, while the Dodgers host Miami for a three-game series beginning Monday.
