LAS VEGAS (Interstat) — The Anaheim Ducks and Vegas Golden Knights meet Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series, tied 2-2. Anaheim (48-43) rebounded from a 6-2 loss in Game 3 with a 1-0 shutout victory Sunday at home. The Ducks’ offense has been inconsistent but received a boost from left wing Chris Kreider, who scored a goal on two shots in the Game 3 loss and has been a physical presence. Vegas (45-46) counters with right wing Mitchell Marner, who erupted for three goals and an assist on five shots in Game 3. Marner also scored in Game 4, recording two shots and two penalty minutes in the 1-0 defeat. He has 13 points over his past 10 games. The Golden Knights have won two of three home games in the series, taking Games 1 and 2 at T-Mobile Arena. Anaheim’s lone road win came in Game 2, a 3-1 victory on May 6. Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. PDT. The winner will hold a 3-2 series lead with Game 6 scheduled Thursday in Anaheim.
