SUNRISE, Fla. (Interstat) — The struggling Nashville Predators look to halt a slide when they visit the Florida Panthers in a National Hockey League matchup on Thursday, Dec. 4. Nashville (8-17) has lost seven of its last eight games, including a 5-2 home defeat to Winnipeg on Saturday. Michael Bunting, Erik Haula and Nick Blankenburg provided the offense in that loss. The Predators’ only recent win in that stretch was a 6-3 victory at Detroit on Nov. 26. Florida (12-12) seeks consistency after alternating wins and losses over its last six contests. The Panthers are coming off a 5-3 home loss to Calgary on Friday. Sam Bennett and Evan Rodrigues each scored a goal in that game. The Panthers dominated the most recent meeting between the teams, routing the Predators 8-3 in Nashville on Nov. 24. Following this game, Nashville continues a road trip at Carolina on Saturday. Florida remains home to host Columbus on Saturday.
