BOSTON (Interstat) — The struggling St. Louis Blues visit TD Garden on Thursday night to face a Boston Bruins team looking to build momentum. The Blues (9-18) enter on a down note, coming off a 4-1 home loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Monday. Jordan Kyrou scored the lone goal and Robert Thomas added an assist in the defeat. St. Louis has lost seven of its last 10 games. The Bruins (15-12) are returning from a three-day break after a 3-2 shootout win over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday. Center Morgan Geekie led the way with two goals in the victory. Boston has won two of its last three contests. Thursday’s matchup is the first of a home-and-home set between the clubs, who will meet again in St. Louis on Tuesday, Dec. 9. Following the game, the Blues continue a road trip at Ottawa on Saturday. The Bruins will host the New Jersey Devils on Saturday.
