CINCINNATI, Ohio (Interstat) — Joe Burrow threw for 428 yards and a touchdown and ran for another, but the Cincinnati Bengals fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars 22-17 on Sunday at Paycor Stadium. Trevor Lawrence passed for 227 yards and a touchdown for the Jaguars, who improved to 3-1. Chris Rodriguez Jr. ran for a touchdown, Brenton Strange caught seven passes for 95 yards, and Brian Thomas Jr. added a touchdown catch. CINCINNATI (Interstat) — Trevor Lawrence threw a touchdown pass, Cam Little made three field goals and the Jacksonville Jaguars held off the Cincinnati Bengals 22-17 in an NFL game Sunday at Paycor Stadium. The Jaguars improved to 3-1. The Bengals fell to 2-2. Attendance was 66,625. Jacksonville opened the scoring with Little’s 55-yard field goal with 2:18 remaining in the first quarter. Cincinnati answered early in the second quarter, but a 14-yard touchdown run by Samaje Perine was nullified by an offensive holding penalty on D. Fairchild. The Bengals settled for Evan McPherson’s 29-yard field goal to tie the score. Jacksonville then had a 44-yard touchdown run by Bhayshul Tuten wiped out by an offensive holding penalty on E. Cleveland. Little followed with a 28-yard field goal. Later in the quarter, another Tuten touchdown run, this one from 3 yards, was nullified by a holding penalty on A. Harrison. Lawrence then found Brian Thomas Jr. for a 7-yard touchdown, and Little’s extra point gave Jacksonville a 13-3 halftime lead. Cincinnati cut into the lead in the third quarter when Joe Burrow passed short middle to Mike Gesicki for a 15-yard touchdown. McPherson’s extra point made it 13-10. Jacksonville answered with Little’s 54-yard field goal. In the fourth quarter, Chris Rodriguez Jr. ran left guard for a 25-yard touchdown. A two-point conversion attempt failed when Lawrence’s pass to Thomas was incomplete. Burrow later scored on a 1-yard right guard run, and McPherson’s extra point trimmed the deficit to 22-17.
