CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (Interstat) — The Southeast Missouri State women’s basketball team will look to build on its recent momentum when it hosts struggling Tennessee State in an Ohio Valley Conference matchup on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at the Show Me Center. The Redhawks (10-17) enter on a two-game winning streak, including a 71-62 victory at Arkansas-Little Rock last Saturday. They are led by Raissa Nsabua, who scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds in that win. Nsabua has been a consistent offensive threat, posting 24 points in a loss to Morehead State on Feb. 5. Tennessee State (4-23) has lost eight of its last nine games and is coming off a 52-67 home loss to SIU Edwardsville. Guard Kiki Roberts, who scored 16 points in that contest, is a key player for the Tigers. She had a standout performance of 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists in an 87-77 win over Western Illinois on Feb. 7. The Tigers won the season’s first meeting, 76-72, in Nashville on Dec. 20, 2025. Southeast Missouri State will aim to even the season series on its home floor, where it is 6-6 this season. Tennessee State is 1-12 in road games. Following this contest, Southeast Missouri State hosts Tennessee Tech on Saturday, while Tennessee State travels to Tennessee-Martin.
