SAN ANTONIO (Interstat) — A surging Stephen F. Austin looks to continue its push near the top of the conference standings when the Ladyjacks visit the Incarnate Word Cardinals in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball matchup Thursday. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. CST at the McDermott Convocation Center. Stephen F. Austin (20-8) enters on a four-game winning streak, most recently routing Nicholls State 77-57 on Saturday. The Ladyjacks have won seven of their last nine, with the only losses in that span coming in overtime and by a single point. Incarnate Word (13-13) has found momentum of its own, winning three consecutive games after a five-game skid. The Cardinals are coming off a 71-61 road victory at Texas A&M-Commerce on Saturday. A key matchup will feature Stephen F. Austin’s Harmanie Dominguez against UIW’s Raimi McCrary. Dominguez is averaging 11.4 points over her last eight games, including an 18-point performance against Nicholls State. McCrary is coming off a strong all-around game with 16 points, four rebounds and four assists in the win over Texas A&M-Commerce, and she recorded a 13-rebound game against Nicholls State on Feb. 14. The Ladyjacks won the first meeting this season, 75-63 at home on Jan. 8. Stephen F. Austin has dominated the recent series, winning the last 11 matchups dating to 2017. Stephen F.
