LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Interstat) — The Morehead State Eagles look to continue a late-season push when they visit the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball matchup on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at Jack Stephens Center. Morehead State (18-12) enters with momentum after a 73-62 home victory over Southern Indiana on Tuesday. The Eagles have won three of their last four games, seeking to solidify their standing above .500. Guard Laura Toffali, coming off a 15-point, six-rebound performance in that win, is a key catalyst. She has averaged 12.1 points over her last nine contests, including a 36-point outing against Lindenwood on Jan. 31. The Trojans (14-14), however, aim to halt a two-game skid and return to the .500 mark. They fell 71-62 to Southeast Missouri State last Saturday despite a 23-point effort from standout forward Jordan Holman. Holman has been a consistent force, scoring 20 or more points in five of her last nine games and recording double-doubles against Eastern Illinois (15 points, 12 rebounds) and SIU Edwardsville (22 points, 14 rebounds) this month. This game is a rematch of a Dec. 16, 2025, meeting, which Arkansas-Little Rock won 76-63 in Morehead, Kentucky. The Trojans will rely on that precedent and home-court advantage to counter the Eagles’ recent form. For Morehead State, support for Toffali has come from Violet McNece, who exploded for 23 points against Southern Indiana, and Landon Forbes, who dished seven assists in that contest. Arkansas-Little Rock will need production beyond Holman, with contributors like Alaina Payne (11 points, eight rebounds last game) and Destinee Salgado (12 points, eight rebounds) playing pivotal roles. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. Central. The Trojans’ next game is at home against Southern Indiana on Saturday. Morehead State continues its road swing following this contest.
