Wyoming led by as many as 10 points and held a 59-53 advantage late in regulation, but Air Force closed the fourth quarter on an 8-0 run to tie the game. The Falcons then dominated the extra period, outscoring the Cowgirls 10-2. The victory improved Air Force to 13-15 overall. Wyoming fell to 9-18. Attendance was 1,515.

The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. MST at Clune Arena. Wyoming (9-17, 4-9 MW) enters on a three-game losing streak, most recently a 62-48 home loss to Colorado State on Saturday. The Cowboys have struggled offensively during the skid, averaging just 52 points per game. Air Force (12-15, 5-8) has dropped its last two contests, including a 73-53 defeat at New Mexico on Saturday. Air Force will counter with Jayda McNabb, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds in a win over San Jose State on Feb. 14 and tallied 14 points and six assists in a narrow victory over Grand Canyon on Feb. 7. She leads the Falcons in scoring in MW games at 11.2 points per contest. Wyomingâs defense, which held Air Force to 44 points in January, will aim to contain an Air Force squad that averages 68.3 points per game at home. The Falcons will need to improve upon their 30.8% shooting performance from the first matchup. Both teams have two regular-season games remaining after Wednesday. Wyoming visits San Diego State on Saturday, while Air Force travels to face Colorado State.
