Preview: IU Indy at Green Bay in Horizon League Women’s Basketball ASHAWAUBENON, Wis. (Interstat) — The Green Bay Phoenix, riding high near the top of the Horizon League, will host the IU Indy Jaguars in a women’s basketball matchup on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at the Resch Center. Green Bay (21-7 overall) enters as a heavy favorite, boasting a dominant 74-47 victory over the Jaguars in Indianapolis on Dec. 10. The Phoenix are coming off a commanding 91-57 rout of Milwaukee on Feb. 21, where junior Jenna Guyer led the way with 23 points and six rebounds. Guyer has been a consistent force, averaging 16.2 points over her last five contests. The Jaguars (12-15) aim to build on a narrow 74-72 home win over Detroit on Sunday. Guard Olivia Smith fueled that victory with a team-high 20 points, five rebounds and four assists. Smith’s scoring has been volatile, however, with performances ranging from four to 20 points in February. IU Indy has struggled on the road, including a 74-45 loss at Cleveland State on Feb. 19. This game presents a stark contrast in trajectories. Green Bay has won eight of its last ten, showcasing one of the league’s most balanced attacks, evidenced by Maddy Skorupski’s 11-assist performance last outing. IU Indy has split its last six games, often relying on Smith and Sydney Bolden, who added 15 points against Detroit. The Phoenix, traditionally a defensive powerhouse, will look to replicate their December defensive effort that held IU Indy under 50 points. The Jaguars must find offensive consistency beyond Smith to challenge Green Bay’s staunch defense on its home floor. Following this game, Green Bay travels to Fort Wayne on Saturday, Feb. 28. IU Indy visits Milwaukee the same day.
