KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Interstat) ā The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles look to continue their push for a winning season when they visit the struggling Missouri-Kansas City Kangaroos in a Summit League womenās basketball matchup Saturday at Municipal Auditorium. Oral Roberts (13-12) enters with momentum after a decisive 76-55 home victory over Denver last Saturday. The Kangaroos (7-20) aim to halt a five-game skid, most recently a 79-63 home loss to Denver on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles won the seasonās first meeting handily, 81-65 in Tulsa on Jan. 15. A similar result would solidify their position in the conference standings, while UMKC seeks a signature home win to salvage a difficult season. Oral Roberts is led by guard Kayten Donley, who is coming off a dominant 23-point, 7-rebound performance against Denver. Over her last seven games, she has averaged 13.0 points and 4.3 rebounds, providing consistent scoring punch. She will be supported by Jalei Oglesby (18 points vs. Denver) and Anna Trusty, who facilitate the offense. The Kangaroos will counter with guard Tierra Trotter, their primary playmaker. She is averaging 12.1 points and 4.4 assists per game this season and is fresh from a 15-point, 6-assist effort in the loss to Denver. Support scoring often comes from Emani Bennett, who erupted for 20 points in that same contest. The game pits Oral Robertsās middling but improving record against a UMKC team that has found victories scarce, with just one win since Jan. 31. The Golden Eaglesā offense, which has topped 75 points in three of its last five wins, will test a Kangaroos defense that has allowed an average of 74.2 points during its current losing streak. Tipoff is set for Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, in downtown Kansas City.
