LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Interstat) — Two teams seeking momentum for the stretch run will meet Thursday when the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans host the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game at Jack Stephens Center. The matchup features teams with nearly identical records. The Trojans (13-13) sit at .500, while the visiting Skyhawks (12-13) look to climb back above the break-even mark. The game is a quick rematch, as Arkansas-Little Rock secured a 68-53 road victory at Tennessee-Martin on Feb. 3. In that first meeting, Trojans guard Jordan Holman led the way with 16 points and six assists. Holman enters this contest in strong form, averaging 18.3 points and 10.3 rebounds over her last three games. She posted a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds in a 73-53 win at Eastern Illinois on Feb. 14, the Trojans’ most recent outing. Tennessee-Martin aims to avenge the earlier loss and snap a three-game skid. The Skyhawks are coming off a 62-52 home loss to Southeast Missouri State on Tuesday, despite 16 points from guard Zakheria Thompson. Thompson has been a consistent offensive threat, scoring in double figures in seven of her last eight games, including a 21-point performance against Morehead State on Feb. 7. The Skyhawks’ recent struggles have been marked by offensive inconsistency, failing to reach 55 points in three consecutive losses. Containing Holman and improving their own scoring efficiency will be key priorities. For Arkansas-Little Rock, protecting home court is essential as they fight to finish the season with a winning record. The Trojans have shown a Jekyll-and-Hyde tendency, following a 20-point win with a 38-point loss in their last two home games. Tipoff is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026. The Trojans’ next game is at home against Southeast Missouri State on Saturday. Tennessee-Martin travels next to host Tennessee Tech on Feb. 26.
