The game at Firestone Fieldhouse pits a Waves squad (15-11) seeking consistency against a Toreros team (9-18) reliant on a single high-scoring star. San Diego enters having lost three of its last four, including a 56-66 home defeat to Gonzaga on Feb. 12. The Toreros’ offense runs almost entirely through junior guard Kylie Ray, who has been on a remarkable scoring tear.
