Both squads are coming off losses in their most recent outings. UC Riverside fell 79-68 to UC San Diego on Saturday despite 17 points from standout guard Hannah Wickstrom. She is averaging 26.4 points over her last eight games, including a 35-point performance in an overtime loss to Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 5. Guard Chrishawn Coleman led the Roadrunners with 16 points in that contest. Coleman has been a key offensive contributor, scoring 23 points in a win at Cal Poly on Jan. 29 and 22 in a double-overtime loss to Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 7. The Highlanders won the season’s first meeting decisively, 64-42, in Riverside on Jan. 8.
