BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Interstat) — The surging Fairfield Stags, boasting one of the nation’s top records, will host the struggling Saint Peter’s Peacocks in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference women’s basketball game on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at Webster Bank Arena. Fairfield (22-4, 13-2 MAAC) enters on a dominant run, having won 10 of its last 11 games. The Stags’ offense has been explosive, averaging 78.5 points during that stretch, including a 109-point performance against Marist on Feb. 5. They are led by standout guard Kaety L’Amoreaux, who is coming off a 30-point, 4-rebound, 4-assist effort in a 75-63 road win at Quinnipiac on Saturday. L’Amoreaux has scored 20 or more points in four of her last eight games. The Stags defeated Saint Peter’s handily in their first meeting this season, an 84-62 victory in Jersey City on Jan. 8. Saint Peter’s (7-18, 5-10) looks to snap a two-game skid after a narrow 63-61 home loss to Sacred Heart on Saturday. The Peacocks have shown resilience in conference play, including a 42-40 road win at Rider on Feb. 12, but consistency has been elusive. They will rely on forward De’Naya Rippey, who has been a bright spot. Rippey posted 16 points and seven rebounds against Sacred Heart and recorded a triple-double (12 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists) in a win at Mount Saint Mary’s on Jan. 31. Her matchup with Fairfield’s frontcourt will be critical. The game tips off at 7 p.m. EST. Fairfield will look to solidify its position atop the MAAC standings, while Saint Peter’s aims to play spoiler and build momentum for the final stretch of the regular season.
