The West Georgia Wolves (16-9) enter on a high note after a dominant 95-74 road victory at Austin Peay on Saturday. The Wolves have won three of their last five, showcasing an offense that has scored 75 or more points in four of their last seven games. The Lipscomb Bisons (9-16), meanwhile, look to halt a two-game skid following a 70-66 home loss to Queens (N.C.) on Saturday. They have lost four of their last five contests. A key matchup will feature two of the conference’s top performers. West Georgia’s Destiny Jones is coming off a career-high 25 points and nine rebounds in the win at Austin Peay. Over her last three games, the forward is averaging 17.7 points and 9.7 rebounds. She will be countered by Lipscomb’s Molly Heard, who has been a bright spot during the Bisons’ difficult season. Heard is averaging 18.1 points over her last eight games, including a 28-point, eight-rebound, three-block effort in the loss to Queens.
