FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Interstat) — The Fort Wayne Mastodons, riding a wave of momentum, will host the struggling Oakland Golden Grizzlies in a Horizon League women’s basketball matchup on Wednesday night at Gates Sports Center. Fort Wayne (16-10) enters on a high note after an 84-68 road victory at Detroit on Saturday. The Mastodons’ offense has been potent, averaging 78.3 points over their last three wins. A key catalyst is sophomore forward Lili Krasovec, who recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in the win over Detroit. Krasovec has been a consistent force, scoring in double figures in six of her last seven games, including a 24-point performance against Robert Morris on Jan. 27. Oakland (8-17) looks to halt a four-game skid, most recently a 62-44 home loss to Wright State.
