GREENSBORO, N.C. (Interstat) — Two teams looking to build on rare recent victories will meet Sunday when the Hofstra Pride visit the North Carolina A&T Aggies in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball matchup at Corbett Sports Center. Hofstra (4-18) snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 75-59 home win over Hampton on Feb. 8. The Pride will aim to secure consecutive wins for the first time this season behind guard Chloe Sterling, who nearly posted a triple-double in the victory with 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Sterling has shown high-level scoring ability, with two 20-point performances in her last six games, but has been inconsistent. North Carolina A&T (9-13) seeks to rebound from a 54-46 road loss at Campbell on Feb. 8. The Aggies had won two of their previous three games prior to that defeat. They are led by guard Paris Locke, who recorded a double-double of 10 rebounds and seven points in the loss to Campbell. Locke has been a steady contributor, averaging 12.3 points over her last seven contests. The Aggies hold a clear advantage in the standings and will rely on their home court, where they are 5-4 this season. Hofstra is 1-10 in road games. In their last outing, Hofstra’s offense found rhythm with three players scoring 15 or more points, a balance they will need to replicate on the road. North Carolina A&T won the teams’ most recent meeting last season. This game is the only scheduled matchup between the programs this year. Following this contest, Hofstra will host UNC Wilmington on Feb. 22. North Carolina A&T will host Northeastern on Feb. 20. Tip-off is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026.
